What is an Online Backup?

It is a system that allows you to make a backup of important files that you have stored on your computer, replicating them in other computers (copy servers) to which you connect via Internet. It is what in Internet is known as Online Backup, that is, backup that is carried out being connected to the Internet.

How does it work?

To be able to access the online backup service, the first thing you have to do is download from our site the client program which you have to install in your computer. You can access to our download form where you can download a demo version program to test a fully operational customer service for a few days, or contract the services.

The client program provides a simple and intuitive graphical interface through which you can select all folders and files which you want to backup, as well as restoring if necessary.

As we said before, the communication of the client program to the backup servers is carried out through the Internet. To ensure privacy, all the information exchanged between your computer and the copy server is encoded using a number of strong encryption algorithms and using different key coding each time the client logs in the copy servers.

In order to minimize the use of their data lines, all files transferred between your computer and the servers are compressed, reducing its size as much as possible. Besides, once the first remote backup is carried out, only the changes which happened are transferred in the following copies, drastically reducing both the time needed to carry out the copy and the impact on their data lines.
