HOSTING

Features

Our domain hosting services have all the options you require for your domains. If there is something that you need and it is not in our services, don't worry, our development team will develop it for you, if it is within our means.

Hosting

The main options and features of our hosting services are:

  • Primary DNS server.

  • Secondary DNS servers located in several different countries in order to grant the service availability.

  • Web service with dynamic pages support using the PHP language.

  • FTP access to manage the Web space.

  • POP/IMAP/SMTP email service.

  • Authenticated SMTP service so you can send email to the Internet from anywhere in the world.

  • WebMail to enable you to read your emails from anywhere, only using a web browser.

  • The email system has a powerful AntiVirus system to prevent infected messages from reaching your mailboxes. The virus database is real time updated to prevent the new viruses from reaching you.

  • Another important feature of the email system is the integration of an AntiSpam system with the latest spam fighting technologies (bayes data bases, DCC, black lists, etc.).

  • Mailboxes management through the Control Panel:
      - Create new mailboxes.
      - Modify mailbox password.
      - Remove mailboxes
      - Forward emails to another e-mail address.
      - Autoresponder to notify senders that you are unavailable to respond at the moment (for example, that you are on holiday).
      - Create mailing lists.
      - Create private mailing lists (only the members of the list are allowed to send emails to the list).
      - Create ACLs (Access Control Lists) in order to reject all the emails coming from one sender, or coming from one domain, rejecting all emails except those coming from a predefined set of senders, etc.
      - Define the action to be carried out with the spam identified messages (mark, remove or forward to another email).

  • Databases based on the powerful MySQL engine.

  • All the services are setup in High Availability; that means that they are configured in more than one server. This avoids the interruption of the service in the event that one server fails, because there are other servers to supply the service. Moreover, there are mechanisms that automatically detect server faults and take the needed actions in order to solve the problem (for example, switch off and restart a faulty server).

  • All servers are protected by secure FireWalls to avoid Internet attacks.

  • Several Internet access lines for the servers. If one of the lines has a defect, the Internet traffic is redirected to the other lines. This grants high availability in the Internet access to the servers.

  • Automatic system for the detection, notification and resolution of faults in the Internet data lines. In the event of a line fault, the system can detect this situation, notify the problem (for example via email, SMS, etc) and take the necessary measures in order to re-establish Internet connectivity (for example, switching the affected network devices off and on to bring them back to a stable status).

  • The bandwidth available for users is equally shared using QoS (Quality of Service) techniques.

  • The installations have UPS (Uninterrupted Power Supply) systems to avoid problems in the electric power supply, which could cause interruptions in the services.
