This avoids the interruption of the service in the event that one server fails, because there are other servers to supply the service. Moreover, there are mechanisms that automatically detect server faults and take the needed actions in order to solve the problem (for example, switch off and restart a faulty server).


• All servers are protected by secure FireWalls to avoid Internet attacks.


• Several Internet access lines for the servers. If one of the lines has a defect, the Internet traffic is redirected to the other lines. This grants high availability in the Internet access to the servers.


• Automatic system for the detection, notification and resolution of faults in the Internet data lines. In the event of a line fault, the system can detect this situation, notify the problem (for example via email, SMS, etc) and take the necessary measures in order to re-establish Internet connectivity (for example, switching the affected network devices off and on to bring them back to a stable status).


• The bandwidth available for users is equally shared using QoS (Quality of Service) techniques.


• The installations have UPS (Uninterrupted Power Supply) systems to avoid problems in the electric power supply, which could cause interruptions in the services.
