The STS-MAILSAFE APPLIANCE is used as an intermediary between the flow of mail for a set of domains and the server or set of servers on which mailboxes are stored. Its function is to clean messages from viruses and spam before they are delivered to their destination mailboxes.

The most advanced techniques available today are used in a combined form in order to identify spam.

The device allows you to use a variety of antivirus engines, both commercial and non-commercial. It may even make use of multiple antivirus engines simultaneously in order to increase the virus suppression capacity.

There is the option of configuring the device as a cluster made up of two or more nodes STS-MAILSAFE APPLIANCE, this allows to scale the system easily with the aim of supporting any volume of messages (high scalability), as well as to ensure continuity of the provided service even when a failure occurs in one of the nodes that make up the cluster (high availability).

The administration and monitorization of the STS-MAILSAFE APPLIANCE is carried out through a simple web-based graphical interface in a web environment.
