STS-FIREWALL
Description
Firewalls are devices that are used to control and restrict network traffic flowing through them, by filtering data packets according to a preset set of rules that constitute what is known as the firewall security policy.
They are the 'key elements' for the security of any network of computers and act as regulators, allowing the access to those authorized contents to the protected networks and denying it to dangerous or unwanted communications.
The set of rules that define the permitted and restricted traffic (security policy) is administered through a simple graphical interface (firewall console), through which you have total control of all traffic flowing between each network to which the firewall is switched. If you have several delegations, each protected by a STS-FIREWALL, you can manage the security policy of them all through a single firewall console.
